The Kasbah Mediterranean is a locally owned restaurant celebrating the vibrant, homemade, farm‑to‑table flavours of Armenia, Greece, and Italy. Our menu features authentic Mediterranean dishes prepared with care, tradition, and fresh ingredients sourced from local farms whenever possible.

We serve lunch on Saturday and Sunday and dinner daily, including our popular Chef’s Prix Fixe Dinner and Date Night menu, offering a curated multi‑course experience. Guests can enjoy specialties such as souvlaki, pasta, steak, and seafood.  Our menus also include a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten‑free options, ensuring something delicious for everyone.

The Kasbah features an extensive wine list showcasing local Niagara wines as well as exceptional selections from Greece and Italy. Our bar offers specialty cocktails—including the famous Santorini—along with Bellinis, Margaritas, Daiquiris, Martinis and a variety of domestic and imported beers on tap and in bottle.

Our 6,000‑square‑foot restaurant includes a 30‑seat private dining room, a 100‑seat main dining room, a 60‑seat bar and lounge, and a 50‑seat covered patio. About Our Chef & Founder

 

After more than 25 years in the restaurant industry, Niagara Falls was finally introduced to the remarkable cuisine of Vaughan Bulganian with the opening of The Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine in 2014 at 6130 Dunn Street. Vaughan was born in historical Armenia and spent his childhood in a monastery in Jerusalem, where he learned the true art of preparing Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. To this day, he remains committed to absolute authenticity—believing that if you claim a dish is Middle Eastern or Mediterranean, it must be made the traditional way. Nothing less will do.

In 1987, Vaughan immigrated to Canada. From 1987 to 2000, he honed his craft at three respected restaurants: Ida’s Falafels in Montreal, the Double V Middle Eastern Kitchen, and the Sunset Restaurant. In 2000, he opened Vaughan’s International Cuisine on St. Paul Street in St. Catharines, where he served his signature dishes until 2013.

The silent owner of The Kasbah—longtime admirer of Vaughan’s cooking—knew it was time for his return. She, along with many loyal customers, missed the true flavours of the Middle East and Mediterranean that Vaughan is known for. The Kasbah Mediterranean Qsine, located at the former Love Boat II site, became the perfect home for his revival, bringing authentic, handcrafted Mediterranean cuisine back to Niagara Falls since 2014.
